What does SwapBackdrop provide?
Upload an eligible video, remove its background, choose a replacement background and frame, and save a composed video. Automated removal can make mistakes. Review each output before using it. Device resources and codecs affect local export; cloud export is available when enabled. We do not promise perfect edges or permanent project storage.
Who can use the service?
You must be at least 18 and of legal age where you live. If people appear, they must be adults whose age and permission you can confirm. You retain your rights in your footage and grant the permissions needed to store, process and deliver the service you request. You must hold the rights to footage, sound, people shown, backgrounds and intended use. Payment does not supply missing licenses or permissions.
What do processing credits cover?
One-time packs: Starter costs USD 9.90 for three video-processing credits; Studio costs USD 19.90 for eight. Monthly subscriptions: Creator costs USD 19.90 for ten credits each month; Studio monthly costs USD 39.90 for twenty-four. Monthly plans renew automatically until canceled. Eligible inputs are up to 15 seconds, 30 fps, 450 frames, 200 MiB and Full HD. One credit is reserved when a job is accepted and consumed when its cutout is validated. A confirmed processing failure returns the held credit once to its original bucket; if that monthly bucket has expired, the return is recorded as expired instead of spendable. Each source supports up to three saved cloud exports; export attempts and eligible retries are bounded. Reusing an available cutout does not require another background-removal credit. One-time credits have no scheduled expiry. Monthly plans renew automatically; unused monthly credits expire each billing period and do not roll over. Cancel renewal or change the next period’s plan in My account. Paid current-period entitlements remain until expiry; no immediate prorated upgrade is provided. Source files and cutouts share the source deadline, up to seven days from upload. Creating or exporting a cutout does not extend it. Review the final payment total before confirming.
Third-party processing and privacy.
Cloud removal uses fal.ai. Generated provider file URLs may allow access without sign-in; provider retention and deletion timing are not confirmed. Do not upload confidential or sensitive footage. See our Privacy Policy before starting. A cancellation after submission may not stop processing or its costs.
Acceptable use.
Do not submit unlawful, unlicensed, exploitative or sensitive material, children's footage, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content intended to deceive, impersonate or violate others' rights. We may restrict abusive use and investigate credible reports. Contact support to report a concern without attaching private footage.
How do payments, cancellations and refunds work?
Stripe is the default payment channel; other channels may be enabled as alternatives. Credits are added only after server-side payment verification. Processing-credit returns are distinct from monetary refunds. Contact support about duplicate charges, unused credits or failed delivery. We review the actual purchase, usage and applicable consumer rights. No term removes mandatory cancellation, refund or other rights. Starting processing does not automatically waive statutory rights.
What should you know about account access and availability?
Protect your Google account and review results while they remain available. Service interruptions, browser limits and third-party failures can affect processing or export. Deleting a project removes access and schedules cleanup of files we control; saved local copies remain. Contact support if a job or payment is uncertain before attempting another purchase.
